Part of Spring Cleaning involves paying careful attention to the weeds! Whether you pull them, admire them or photograph them; weeds demand attention. With a camera “weeding” takes on a new meaning. So many bugs and insects depend on weeds. Leave just enough weeds to make things interesting, yet manageable.
My Three ideas for future challenges
1.) The temperature is…
A photograph which represents the temperature. Hot, cold or in between. Hard shadows to show the bright sun for example. The soft shadows of a cool cloudy day. Ice and snow if you got it!
2.) On my table.
Photograph anything on your table, be it animal, vegetable or mineral. What’s on your table?
3.) I’ve always wanted to photograph…
Show us a photo you always wanted to take. Open theme, have fun.

Wow! What an awesome pic!
Mine’s up too
Beautiful close-up of that flower and bee doing his “spring cleaning”! Mine’s up too.
Wow. Your photos always amaze me. Wish I could get shots that sharp. Awesome!
A wasp doing spring cleaning ! that’s very original, the picture is gorgeous !
How pretty! A nice big burst of yellow, in the first picture I saw today.
Great ideas by the way. I really like the last one, we all have those photos in us. :
Carly
What a nice close up! I like you ideas too although that last one might be tough.
I don’t ordinarily like wasps, but this photo may change my mind. Your ideas sound like fun. I can hardly wait to try them.
Wow! I’m amazed at how crisp and clear that close up is. I wish I could get that good. We have lots of noxious weeds in Colorado, which I understand why they are termed noxious, but oh, are some of them pretty! Cool ideas, too!
An unexpected take on the topic, and an amazing photo! The large photo format you use here really shows a shot like this one to its best advantage. Bravo!
Wonderful shot, as usual. Next time you’re down this way, you can come pull weeds in my yard!
