For morning, noon and night I photographed sky! Probably the biggest surprise was how blue the noon sky was as opposed to the morning gradient sky. Moisture in the morning sky and by noon it had burned off. Of course the moon. Thought about photographing the stars but I would have had to wait for the moon to set. Light overpowers other light. The nice thing about light is that it is always in motion; be it rising, shining down, setting or reflecting.

What a great idea! Where better to look for light than the sky? That moon is amazing.
Nice series!
I like the one in the middle, the soft blue sky is very pretty, and of course there are some clouds to make wishes on. Well, that’s what I do anyway. And the moon shot is quite stunning. I have always wanted to get a telescope with an adapter to photograph the moon and the meteor showers we have every August. Alas maybe next year.
Oh, this is wonderful! It’s elegantly simple, and I love the side by side contrast in colors and what details there are. The larger size you’ve configured into this blog really add to the impact. And I wish I could photograph the moon like that - it’s a real stunner!
I love these three photos side by side. Each shares a color with the others. Just goes to prove that Mother Nature knew what she was doing.
I’ll save you a click. I didn’t play this week.
