If you ever wondered where Du Pont started it was here. The Hagley Museum in Delaware is where the Du Ponts built their first gunpowder mills and where this reconstructed water wheel is located. Interesting place but not as interesting as some of the other nearby Du Pont estates. Industrial ruins along the river. From Saturday, a week ago.
I’ve hardly touched the camera all week. Pout. Weather was not with me today but Sunday is looking better. My plan is Longwood when it opens tomorrow morning. Butterflies and dragonflies await. You’ll see.
