I’m Steven Emmett Pusey, the guy behind the camera here at (sometimes)photoblog. I also maintain a text-link blog called (sometimes)blog.
I’ve been photoblogging since 2003 on various blog platforms. AOL Journals, Blogger and now using WordPress. I’m an avid amateur photographer. I try my best to shoot daily and upload daily. A photo a day format.
My interest in photography started in high school and lasted through college where I burned myself out in the darkroom. Once digital came on, I started shooting again.
My current camera is a Canon S5IS. Pre-digital I used a Canon AE-1. My past digital cameras were the A60, A70 and the S2. I’m a Canon shooter with plenty of photos on Flickr.
I’ve recently relocated from Houston, Texas to Southeastern Pennsylvania and it’s exciting to have new and unfamiliar subjects to work with. I may finally break the bug-flower photo habit.
